Manasi Karthik is a Research Fellow at the Center for Economic and Policy Research Manasi’s scholarship is at the intersection of environment and international political economy. She has studied and written about international development, climate and infrastructure finance, sovereign debt, industrial policy, and land reform. She was previously a Fellow at the Center for Financial Accountability. She holds an M.A. in Anthropology and Development from SOAS, University of London and an M.A. in Sociology from Johns Hopkins University, where she is now finishing her Ph.D.
