More Workers Are Choosing to Work Part-Time, But Many Want to But Can’t Transition to Full-Time Work

The latest jobs numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show there was an increase of 113,000 in the number of people involuntarily working part-time, although this figure is still down by 428,000 from the year ago level. The number choosing to work part-time dropped in August, but is still up by 751,000 from last year’s level. For more, read the full Jobs Byte.
